Eco Smart Organics offers an exciting range of extremely safe yet versatile products that can offer similar levels of disinfection and sanitisation to major leading household brands, but without harsh burning and/or corrosive actions. Research has shown that many conventional air refreshment products cause increased undesirable levels of toxins and air pollutants and merely act as a scented mask, failing to deal with pathogens or kill the root causes of bad odours which result from microbial build ups.

Nowadays more and more consumers are sensibly requesting that more open and better defined labelling is used on household consumables, providing a clearer and better informed choice regarding the safety of their day-to-day usage.

The outdated 1973 USA federal label packaging law has a major loophole which has allowed manufacturers of man-made chemical household products to hide multiple ingredients under the generic term "fragrance"; this was originally ONLY intended to protect secret formulations used within their unique product's scent.

Under the law, no fragrance ingredients have to be declared upon the products packaging labels. Multiple chemical ingredients which boost levels of scent performance and longevity are commonly added, along with other more potentially hazardous chemical ingredients (which can be detected using sophisticated gas spectrometry) and remain undisclosed upon the labels, hidden within the generic term "fragrance".

Whilst the majority of these hidden hazardous chemical ingredients detected are present at concentrations of less than 1% total volume, they have raised world wide consumer safety concerns in respect to the long term "additive" effect of using several different products within the enclosed home environments, where these chemicals can intermix and build up.
